A brand new Chinese language drone, the TJ-FlyingFish, is gaining consideration because it seems like one thing straight out of a Hollywood film. It’s a transformer robotic able to autonomously navigating underwater as an uncrewed underwater car (UUV) and flying within the air as a quadcopter. The drone was developed by a crew of scientists from China’s Shanghai Analysis Institute for Clever Autonomous Techniques, Tongji College, and the Unmanned Techniques Analysis Group on the Chinese language College of Hong Kong. It weighs 3.6 kilos, can hover within the air for six minutes and journey underwater at 6.5 ft per second.
